About this artwork
Sylvester as a super villain! Cutting with shears and gluing cans of coke to form Sylvestre ... Two levels of reading with the possibility of getting closer to discovering the "super" villains of films from the 80s to the present day. Candies and a jar were poured into the resin. Acrylic paint has been added and everything is covered with epoxy resin. A frame in an American black aluminum box completes the picture.

Maxime Ledieu is a multidisciplinary artist based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally. Inspired by pop art, comics, cinema, and rock music, his diverse works explore color, movement, femininity, "the solar side", as well as the antagonism between violence and innocence. Ledieu's painterly compositions are most often created with acrylics and collage on wood or cardboard. In his sculptural pieces, he favors recycled materials such as soda or beer cans.
