This piece celebrates the GMT-Master II in yellow gold and black ceramic - a dual-timezone tool watch elevated to precious metal luxury. The Cerachrom bezel with 24-hour graduations, the hands, the distinctive date display rendered in bold impasto.
Through heavy… palette knife technique, I carve dimensional depth into the ceramic bezel's raised numerals and the Oyster bracelet's center links. Gold tones pulse against deep blacks, each stroke building sculptural relief.
The contrast between warm gold and matte ceramic creates chromatic tension. This is functional excellence rendered as contemporary art - designed to command wall space with the same confidence the original commands on wrist.
