About this artwork
The artist made this painting after a trip to Georgia. Megi Balzer saw a wishing tree in the Caucasus. There were many colorful ribbons with wishes from all over the world and in all possible languages on the wish tree. The artist has worked out this blaze of color with bright colors in a cubist style.

Megi Balzer is a painter, draftsman, and printmaker based in Germany whose works have been exhibited nationally, in Georgia and the United Kingdom. In addition, her art has been featured in publications such as Stormaner Tageblatt, KunstWerk, Boutique Bizarre, etc. Through her diverse compositions, Balzer translates the relationship between sound and color, natural motifs, as well as the complexity of individuals. She primarily creates using acrylics, oils, graphite, and India ink on canvas or linen.
