About this artwork
The image shows a colorful spiral, whose vibrant tones combine in a dynamic movement.
The different colors represent individual origin and uniqueness, but together they appear harmonious and synchronized.
The central message is: Our diversity is not a division, but a strength. The shared movement of colors symbolizes unity, mutual respect, and the beauty of diversity in togetherness.
Merima Imamovic works with mixed media, acrylic and texture paste and brings a rich artistic background from Bosnia and Munich.
Her technique combines strong colors, textured surfaces, and natural motifs with symbolic elements that challenge the viewer's perception and perspective. Her works convey profound emotional states and invite viewers to discover new horizons in their own lives with curiosity and courage.
Her authenticity and uniqueness are demonstrated by the fact that she places a bracket on each side of the image, allowing the viewer to change perspective, discover new meanings, and recognize the symbolism within themselves and in their surroundings.
A large solo exhibition in the Vaterstetten town hall, which was officially opened by the mayor.
The opening speech was given by Prof. Dr. Angelika Niebler, MEP.
