About this artwork
In this quiet, almost monochromatic space, an isolated segment emerges – a group of colorful Easter egg… shells. Their vibrancy and diversity create rhythm, but also tension. Although they are made of the same material, they are clearly distinct. Their colors prevent them from completely blending into their surroundings.
The wire that surrounds and partially "fixes" them symbolizes the paradox of integration: belonging coupled with limitation. It connects, but it also limits. As in real society, integration means
