About this artwork
The story of King Midas is a myth about greed and tells what happens when we do not know how to recognize true happiness. Midas was a man who wanted everything he touched to turn to gold. However, he hadn't thought that this wish wasn't really a blessing, but rather a curse. His greed invites us to think and realize the consequences that can lead us to become slaves of our own desires.
