About this artwork
This is a favourite. I think in some ways it represents me. Soft pastel. Mysteriously table, a little hazy. Lost in the surrounding representation of the wall, the corner of the room. The chess board. the waistcoat beneath. The emptiness, is not hopeless. The silence, is quietly trying saying something.
