In meiner Arbeit wollte ich die Grenzen der Realität durch die Tiefdrucktechnik erkunden und ein surrealistisches Szenario erschaffen. Der Kontrast zwischen der harten Architektur und der schwebenden Figur erweckt eine Spannung. Painter and print-maker Michael B. Sky was born and raised in Poland, but is now based in Germany. In 2017 he won first place in the portrait category of the American Art Award in Los Angeles. Sky is excited by the combinations of elements, surfaces and colors to form objects that enable him to show himself to the world. Passionate about technology, mathematics, and the natural sciences, Sky's work ranges from pictorial constructions, to idiosyncratic portraits, to photo-realistic landscape paintings, to wood and lino-cuts.
