"Mona" is a mixed media piece done primarily in acrylics, but it also has pastel and charcoal with a high gloss varnish on canvas. This piece is done in a very expressive style and it was the artist’s hope that the expressive nature combined with the use of color and texture would provide the viewer a sense of the emotion of the subject.
