About this artwork
I took this photo following a growd that led me to a procession in the heart of the city. It was already getting dark, the light came from the street lanterns and the flame of palisander wood, carried by some of the participants. I saw a young peruvian lady, deeply concentrated in a mystic cloud of dust. The famous afghan girl from Steve Mc Curry came to my mind, when I finally reached the right position to take this for me very special photo.

About my future project: "Identidad - Tierra - Cultura". I will attempt to make a contribution by giving a face to some of the millions of Latin Americans who suffer poverty, abuse and aggression, consequences of drug wars, corruption and climate change by appreciating them through my photographic art. The main focus for the years 2025/26 shall be concentrated on the social situation in South America, spotting especially the life in Colombia, Ecuador and Argentina.
