We love the word "together." This word reminds us of acceptance, support, friendship and love. But is it always good to be together? Or do something together? And is it really necessary to be together?
Michael Kaza drew a joint fall. This fall is swift and merciless. But the characters fly together. What for? Where to? Nobody knows.
Look at this idiotic smile of a male figure. He may be an optimist. Or a fool?
Do these two want to kill themselves?… Or have a plan of salvation? We can only guess. Or wonder how the clouds do it in the picture.
But we may wonder if there is a person in our life for whom we will take a step into the abyss? And is it necessary to take this step?

Michael Kaza is a painter and printmaker based in Slovakia whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, in Russia and England. His distinctive compositions explore the human psyche, identity, the depths of the unconscious, as well as topics that are normally viewed as taboo. Kaza's artistic style fuses graphic and pop surrealism. He primarily creates with pens, ink, pencils, and markers on paper.
