About this artwork
This is the first work for the “Global Warming” Series. It shows a blue world fading into a world of fire, dangerous heat, chemicals, and other toxic pollutants. And observing this invasion of the atmosphere are the citizens of the world.

Michael Schaffer is an American artist whose paintings have been exhibited in the United States. Through his art, his goal is to provoke the viewer into feeling, expressing an opinion, or transporting them to the "dramatic, imaginative, and sometimes, the unpleasant". Schaffer creates in varying styles, which include abstract, figurative, and interpretive expressionism. His striking compositions are painted using acrylics, oils, and earth on canvas.
