About this artwork
This work is an abstract figurative expressionist work that uses a wide array of mixed media. From oils to inks to acrylics.
It is a "figurative" abstract piece in that a viewer can see what seems to be two eyes and a mouth.
Seeing these features is a very interesting phenomenon of how the human mind looks at two horizontally placed circles and a then the placement of a straight line below those two circles as a mouth.
A very powerful primitive… ability of man to recognize other humans as well as other creatures.

« My work strives to recognize all the complexities of humankind as well as explore the pleasures of our inner child. »
