About this artwork
Michael loves the lines and patterns of a city. This piece shows how you can see these perfectly from the air. New York is a perfect example of this. Empire State Building (blue) was created from an original photograph taken on a helicopter flight with the doors off.
The wonderful design of New York's streets and landmarks stand out perfectly when you see them from above. The photograph was digitally coloured and printed on brushed aluminium, which… gives the image an etched effect, picking out the details of the city and the beautiful design of the Empire State Building perfectly.
Empire State Building (blue) is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around 10-14 days. Also available as an all-silver edition. An aluminium subframe on the back makes it incredibly easy to hang.
