About this artwork
Grand Central Station is one of Michael's favourite buildings in the world. The sheer scale of it’s beauty and design is breathtaking. Opened in 1913 it sums up everything he loves about New York - the hustle and bustle, the colour and the stunning architecture.
This piece is created from an original photograph and painstakingly coloured digitally by hand, including every person on the concourse and the exquisite ceiling. The image is printed… directly onto a thin sheet of aluminum which gives it an etched appearance, picking out the beautiful details of the station.
Grand Central Station is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around 10-14 days. An aluminium subframe on the back makes it easy to hang.
