About this artwork
This work was created when Russia launched its war of aggression against Ukraine. It poses the question of whether, as an artist, one can convey positive energy in images in the face of the crises on this planet. Using acrylic, oil pastels, rust, and pigments, I captured emotions and energy that convey hope and vitality despite apparent moments of chaos. It brings dynamism and depth to any space and invites the viewer to continually discover new… details and feelings.
“Despite everything, I still believe that people are good deep down in their hearts.”
Anne Frank
I come, I don’t know where from,
I am and I don’t know who,
I live, I don’t know how long,
I die and I don’t know when,
I'm going, I don't know where:
I'm surprised I'm so happy.
