About this artwork
Downstream was photographed at dawn on the top of a mountain in Southern California, in the United States. Not long after this image was made, a wildfire ravaged the area and destroyed this place, which makes the picture all the more special to me. I rarely show it at fine art shows, but decided that it was and still is a quiet place of exceptional, natural beauty.
The picture is matted and framed and arrives ready to hang, something collectors… have always asked me to do. The image is matted and mounted under framing plexi; the frame is natural wood. It is hand-signed and numbered on the back and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
