About this artwork
I painted this lineup of jars and bottles from a selection in my pantry and refridgerator. What really drew me in was the way the light slid across the curves of the glass and plastic, turning ordinary condiments into bright, sculptural forms. The Grey Poupon, mustard, and ketchup take center stage like unlikely personalities in a family snapshot.
