Constructed from fond objects, covered in strips of flattened lead , then decorated to the point of decadence , I spend many hours building up layer upon layer of wax and paint, trying to create the patina of life,

He discovered a passion for art as a young boy, when he would take off-cuts of wood from his grandfather—a coal miner—and turn them into fruits of his imagination. Seeking always to create with passion and freedom, he constructs primarily figurative sculptures that tell stories across a range of themes.
