About this artwork
In my work, which fuses expressionism and semi-symbolic abstraction, I used oil and objects to capture the dichotomy between peace and war. The bright colours and geometric shapes tell a story of dynamic conflict and vibrant coexistence, while three-dimensional elements such as a small tank add a tangible aspect to the exploration of the themes. On the one hand, we have children innocently playing at war and on the other, adults for whom war is a…
game (we easily hear on TV "1000 f**ks in an attack in such and such a country"). This painting is an invitation to reflect on the emotional and physical impact of oppositions in our lives and thus opt for a peaceful resolution of disputes.
