About this artwork
This series continues my long-term project Rebirth of the Reds (2017–ongoing), reimagined through digital montage and print. While the earlier works unfolded through painting, performance, and video, this new body of work translates the same language of memory, resilience, and transformation into a layered digital format.
The red remains central a color of loss, remembrance, and renewal, threading through each composition as both form and emotion.… By working digitally, I am able to weave fragments of past and present into visual tapestries that echo the original series’ meditations on identity, grief, and the persistence of hope. Though the technique has evolved, the heart of the work remains the same: an ongoing act of remembrance and rebirth.

Mohsin Taasha, originally from Afghanistan and trained in Lahore, Pakistan, is a visual artist whose mediums span painting, performance, video, and traditional Wassili paper. He masterfully fuses intricate Persian miniature techniques with drawing and contemporary forms, preserving heritage while pushing artistic boundaries.
