About this artwork
In my lithograph I played with symbolic elements to create a dynamic composition. The contrast between the bold lines and the soft sphere appeals to feelings of movement and energy. Art is intended to inspire and motivate the viewer to set out and discover the world. This work brings a touch of adventure and positivity to any room.

Mona Pfürtner is a multidisciplinary artist based in Germany whose works have been exibited natioanlly and in Switzerland. She cites art as being her deepest form of expression. In Pfürtner's abstract works, time and feeling play a decisive role, where the piece is created "over and over again" in many layers until is is "right". Most recently, she has addressed the pandemic in her compositions, fusing surrealism with naturalism.
