About this artwork
In this painting, I explore the space that exists between connection and distance. Layers of blue evoke both the sea and the emotional landscapes we carry with us. Through textures, marks, and playful floating forms, I create a space where memories, feelings, and fragments of experience can met and interact.
Playfulness is an important part of my creative process. I enjoy allowoing unexpected shapes, lines, and colours to emerge and guide the work… in new directions. Rather than telling a specific story, I invite the viewer to pause, wander through the painting and discover their own meaning within its blue expanse.
