About this artwork
In creating this piece, I poured my passion into every stroke, letting the acrylics and India ink dance together in an abstract symphony. The fluidity in the layers, the bold lines, and the interplay of colors are a testament to the emotions that guided my hands. This painting is an invitation to embrace a sense of calm and introspection, to bring into one's home the serenity of a tranquil lagoon, softly lit by the gentle embrace of the moon's glow.

Monique J Dufour is a Canadian self-taught artist based in Spain, who has exhibited her work throughout the US, Canada, and Europe. Whilst on a trip to France in 2013, she picked up a paintbrush and never looked back, now busying herself daily with her luminous, intriguing abstract compositions.
