I felt happy and carefree as I painted and then this appeared on canvas !
I enter the realm of deep sub consciousness and higher dimensions and lose myself in the beauty of the chosen colors and brushstrokes. My unplanned outcomes are always a revelation for me.

Monique J Dufour is a Canadian self-taught artist based in Spain, who has exhibited her work throughout the US, Canada, and Europe. Whilst on a trip to France in 2013, she picked up a paintbrush and never looked back, now busying herself daily with her luminous, intriguing abstract compositions. Dufour is guided by divine energy and the thrill of creativity, and seeks primarily to move others through her artistic practice.
