This work is kept in strong colors. With the help of oil paint I was able to show the softness and vulnerability of the person portrayed. I play here with figurative and semi-abstract elements to create a deep emotionality and dynamic. The picture does not just portray a face, but tells a story of passion and energy that lives in every brushstroke. The portrait is meant to touch: after all, the figure portrayed is looking directly at the viewer.
