About this artwork
This work was created during my expressionist period in 2019.
The central character was created with a brush directly on an abstract background.
I created this painting in a context of eco-anxiety and great distress as fires ravaged the Amazon.
A young woman with a worried look travels in a bus accompanied by two innocent animals, a koala and a small dog, who are a reassuring presence.
In this work, I mixed abstraction, expressionism and figuration.…
