About this artwork
The original title of this painting was "Yellow Flowers with an Ocean View." It was a scene of a brightly colored yellow flowery bush overlooking the ocean. I painted it back in 2009. It had so many mistakes in it that I could not focus on the entire painting. I decided it would be one of the paintings that I would rework. I decided to focus on the yellow flowers and not the ocean scene. I reworked the flowers so they looked more like poppies. I'm…
