Sometimes a new beginning doesn't start with a loud step, but with a quiet pause. "Inner Spring" tells of this moment, in which we, still marked by past experiences, rediscover ourselves.
A dark blue silhouette stands at the center, almost like a shadow from the past. Around it, colors erupt – turquoise, yellow, orange, pink. Delicate spatula techniques and gentle brushstrokes create layers reminiscent of an inner blossoming. The explosion of color… acts like a silent echo of the Holi festival, a spring that touches not only nature but also the heart.
What initially appears as unrest transforms into light. The image invites us to consider our own development – not as a rupture, but as a transformation.
Perhaps it is precisely this moment when shadows become color.

Nara Ziyou is a contemporary visual artist from Germany. Her work focuses on human presence in symbolic spaces—places situated between memory, longing, change, and arrival. Her works combine abstract, palette knife-built imagery with reduced figurative elements, inviting viewers to rediscover their own experiences and emotions within them.
Her artistic practice develops in three ongoing series of works: Longing, Becoming, and Belonging, which together form a cohesive visual universe. Instead of telling concrete stories, she creates open spaces for resonance in which silence, connection, and inner movement can be experienced.
Nara Ziyou's works have already been exhibited in Germany and Spain and featured in international art publications. Her works are now held in private collections both in Germany and abroad.
