About this artwork
In this continuation, the white of the flames condenses into an almost breathing surface, as if the work were showing how, after the initial release, a new order forms that is neither linear nor predictable. The violet circles seem to open further, as if the inner self is now allowed to shine more freely, while the white lines of the figure move more resolutely, yet still delicately, through space. The rising forms appear less like fleeting flames…
and more like mature impulses that have gathered the courage to actually rise. Thus, a still moment arises between what has been and what is to come, in which transformation not only begins but continues, quietly and perceptibly.
