About this artwork
In this piece, I merged geometric forms with flowing expressionism to explore balance and contrast. The symbolic grids and lines represent structure amidst chaos, with vibrant yellows highlighting energy and hope. Acrylic’s texture adds depth, inviting you to feel the tension and harmony intertwined. It will infuse your space with dynamic movement, sparking reflection and a lively sense of connection.
I mixed coffee grounds in the initial primer… and that already gave me the base for softer contours and a certain earthy tone. Basically we are seeing two objects which contain 5 lines each, in one they are horizontal, in the other vertical.
Symbolically they represent some from of integration in a divided world, yet one can't exist without the other. Hence the title- 'BOTH'.
« Always balancing light and dark to create something unique and beautiful. »
