"The Rose of JERICHO" is a picture from the series 'SILENCE'.
When the artist created this work, the term 'Jericho' came to mind. And the three-dimensional work of this structural work revealed exactly that. Tendrils that formed into flowers.
The fine golden lines on the right side of the picture form a special highlight in this work, which is otherwise exclusively kept in white. Being gold leaf, it shimmers and suggests life.
A rose of Jericho… can survive for years without water and will bloom again and again with water, so it is also called the resurrection plant. It is attributed with immortality and in many cultures it is a good luck charm that promises health, old age and wealth.
This work is intended to symbolically release the same qualities in the home of the owner.
