FREE is a piece that celebrates and validates all women like myself who have experienced domestic abuse, emotionally abusive and coercive behaviour and/or religious, sexual coercion in any shape or form at any stage in their lives either in childhood or adulthood. I believe that the concept of my piece FREE is universal.…
The word FREE represents self-care, gratitude, faith and inner confidence which must reign supreme. It is enhanced, aligns itself and is complemented by the jewels used to love bomb me by my abuser but now smashed and symbolising emancipation of soul and spirit in newfound freedom. It will spell the word FREE at every angle and as this is a complex piece it would work at any angle.
As the originator of Scribe Art and Storyism I am also known as the people's artist. Each individual brush stroke has a minimum of 3 layers bombastic in colour.
