About this artwork
The work explores the multiplicity of female identity and inner dialogue. Different ages and inner states coexist within one woman, interacting rather than opposing each other. The almost iconic composition transforms the figures into a universal image of memory, continuity, vulnerability, and strength.
Nataliia Zevaikina, a Ukrainian painter trained in architecture and living in France, primarily explores oil painting as a language of expression. She favors minimalism, flat colors, layered textures, monochrome, and complementary contrasts, anchoring her style in metamodernism and contemporary symbolism. Through her emotional landscapes, she invites us to feel liminality, the subtle balance between dream and reality, silence and movement—offering an experience of inner resonance, freedom, and poetic contemplation.
