About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the raw intensity of human emotions through a distorted face and vibrant colors. The acrylic and chalk create a striking contrast, amplifying the expressionist energy. NEP is an experienced French painter with national exposure. Motivated by the feeling that his work is an inner, never-ending adventure, he transmits his dreams and anxieties in each composition, usually subconsciously. Painting in a neo-expressionist style, he achieves an aesthetic that displays influences from children's drawings and ultimately presents a chaotic but rich visual journey.
