About this artwork
This combination of monochrome screenprint and oil paint represents a view of one of the '3 Sisters' range of Glencoe in Scotland. The artist took photos of the range from all angles while on a painting trip. On returning to his studio he prepared canvases with abstract paint designs. He then screenprinted monchromatically the mountain images over the paint. Those images which 'clicked' he kept and painted a sky onto which he felt best worked with…
