Acrylic on stretched paper.
This was an experiment in creating a super flat matte abstract using masking tape and a roller. The colours are subtle and muted, but work well together. The painting was made on stretched paper so that the paper has stayed really flat. There is a rim of gummed tape around the edge of the painting that I have not trimmed off as it may be useful when framing the work. The dimensions are for the actual painting and do not… include the tape around the edges.
