About this artwork
I started this painting a year or so ago, it looked completely different then, but the thing that drove it was the small C. My way of painting is to just keep working until something catches my attention, then that little thing dictates how things continue.
In creating this piece, I delved into the tranquility and complexity of abstraction, using oil and wax to produce depth and texture. The harmonious blend of earthy greens and stark contrasting… patches reflects life’s unpredictable intersections and barriers. Each stroke and layer is imbued with emotion, offering a serene yet provocative presence, encouraging contemplation and introspection. This painting is not just an object of beauty, but a source of energy that resonates with the profound and often unseen layers of our existence.
