About this artwork
Isabelle is the ninth image in the Les Femmes series. The top layer, printed on foil, is a digital collage of a woman's face and a further processed image. This is superimposed on a sewn collage made from pieces of foil stitched together by a sewing machine. Patterns created with stamps were also added. The two overlapping layers give the image a unique depth.
