About this artwork
In this piece, I used watercolor and gouache to capture shifting light and shadow in a spring mountain landscape. The foreground focuses on close-up flowers, while the mountains stretch across the distance in a long-range view. The brushstrokes create a slightly misty, dreamlike feel without being overly stylized. My goal was to convey a sense of quiet renewal and bring a calm, warm atmosphere to any space.
