About this artwork
This acrylic painting is a vibrant expression of my fascination with the intertwining of the mystical and the mundane. I've employed minimalism to focus on the central figure, flanked by surreal portraits, evoking a contemplative mood around identity and spirituality. Bold strokes and a restrained palette create an arresting tension, breathing energy and thought-provoking presence into any space it occupies.

« I don't really have a technique, I just go at it, with all sorts of mediums, adding and erasing. »
Noah Borger is a French painter and draftsman who has exhibited in Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Sweden. His style is representative of the neo-expressionist movement which is visible in his surreal and poetic compositions that are seemingly childlike. Borger’s subjects and themes are eclectic and range from pop culture references to Greek myths and nudes. Mixing mediums and materials, he mainly uses acrylics, pastels and colored pencils on canvas or cardboard.
