Nora Boulesnane's work explores the paradox of our condition: the tension between immediate modernity and a psyche haunted by atavism. Inspired by Carl Jung, the artist probes the layers of the collective unconscious, where the memories of early humanity still act as invisible constraints.
His practice unfolds along two axes. On the one hand, a work on the transmutation of roots, where the canvas becomes a mirror of discharge, freeing the being from its cellular burdens. On the other hand, an instinctive outpouring where color and form dictate their own laws.
This alternation between exploring the depths and pure expression is the driving force behind her quest for sovereignty. Between archetypal figuration and vibrant abstraction, Nora Boulesnane creates spaces of catharsis to transform what hinders us and reclaim the immediacy of our present.
