The work "enitor" on paper combines collage, drawing and painting to create a complex and dynamic composition. The title comes from a collage element from an old Latin dictionary that was integrated into the image and whose meaning ("to ascend" or "to strive") underlines the dynamism of the work.
Central black lines form a labyrinthine network, complemented by delicate hatching and rhythmic curves. Powerful accents in bold red and rose add energy… to the work and draw attention to specific areas, such as a suggested figure in the lower area that evokes a being or movement. The fine details and organic shapes create a tension between structure and lightness, while the collage element adds narrative depth.
This work invites viewers to discover the ambiguous connections and symbolic allusions.
