The bold, free-flowing strokes used for the grape leaves contrast sharply with the meticulous, translucent rendering… of the grapes which shimmer like pearls. Based in Jinan, he operates at the intersection of a twenty-year-old painting collective and cross-border digital platforms, building recognition for mid-career Chinese ink painters directly with European and North American collectors through livestreaming, independent e-commerce, and knowledge-based content.
