About this artwork
This original andesite sculpture on granite stand is one of the latest artworks by the contemporary Bulgarian professional sculptor Ognyan Chitakov. In crafting this sculpture, he seeks to capture the dynamic interplay of rhythm and structure, which resonates deeply with the oscillations of nature and human emotion. The patterned grooves and emerging forms represent growth and evolution, encouraging contemplation on our interactions with the natural…
world. This stone sculpture, with its fluidity and textured surface, seemingly dances with light and shadow, bringing a serene yet invigorating energy to any outdoor space.

« Sculpture is my main way of thinking, my method of communication, my way of living... »
Ognyan Chitakov is an established Bulgarian sculptor whose works have featured in national prizes and exhibitions. He loves sculpture for all the elements it allows him to gather together: form, space, function, architecture, design, engineering, technology and - above all - art. He primarily produces stone works that carry ancient and sacred connections, and whose scale ranges from the modest to the monumental.
