About this artwork
In this sculpture, I sought to embody the interplay of light and form. Carved from the earth's own essence, marble, each curve and hollow embraces the dance of shadow and brilliance. Ognyan Chitakov is an established Bulgarian sculptor whose works have featured in national prizes and exhibitions. He loves sculpture for all the elements it allows him to gather together: form, space, function, architecture, design, engineering, technology and - above all - art. He primarily produces stone works that carry ancient and sacred connections, and whose scale ranges from the modest to the monumental.
