About this artwork
Conflict - 15 of 33, is a work from the polyptych Beneath the illusion, a sea of love awaits us II (2025) - mixed-media technique, combining print, dry and oil pastel, and pencil. The polyptych consists of 33 individual works that together form a single whole. Installed as a frieze, each work carries its own message while remaining an integral part of the larger composition.
For me, we are all part of a greater whole, represented here through the… 33 works. The number 33 is symbolic and serves as a synonym for love. Each work bears its own title and number, reminding us that it belongs to a larger entity, and that we, too, are part of something greater.
