About this artwork
It was in September that this adult wolf crossed the path of the last ray of sunlight on the peat bog. This photograph was taken in Finland, near the Russian border. My project at the time was to spend 80 days in a hide, spread over two years, to follow the life of a wolf pack.

He favors black and white and minimalist compositions, working primarily in winter to magnify the silence and the whiteness of the snow. Through his images, he conveys his fascination with the cold, solitude, and a profound admiration for the silent poetry of the polar lands.
