About this artwork
She was also a contortionist. And with pure admiration and respect for her daily routine, I thank the human body for its ability to create evermore interesting experiences. She showed me what flexibility could mean, and I will forever have the memory of a gymnast’s body that was mine to objectify. She became someone, something else, and the mask allowed her body to become a tool for carnal pleasure.
