About this artwork
Acrylic and gesso on 250g paper. A fantastical scene of people walking through the sky. I'm returning to my old series of sky walks. My inspiration is the light and calm in an atmosphere devoid of any material elements.
In this work, I use acrylics to capture the fleeting and tranquil essence of a shared moment under a vast blue sky. My style balances between figurative and impressionist, allowing shapes and colors to flow freely, creating an almost… dreamlike atmosphere. Each ethereally blurred figure invites reflection on human connection in open spaces, suggesting a narrative of calm and collective contemplation. This piece will bring a soulful serenity and a touch of introspective mystery to any space.

Oscar Alvarez Pardo is an experienced Spanish painter with international exposure.
